Designing
Before Christmas break, Batesville students bear the stress of semester exams. A majority of students study for hours just to make sure they know everything they could possibly need to know for each test, since those exams are a large percentage of their semester grades. However, in my AP English 11 class, my classmates and I decided to make studying for our exam a little easier for each other. Mrs. Huff divided us into small groups and told us to make a video presentation that will help our classmates, plus ourselves, remember the information needed to pass our semester test. This was definitely a more fun way to study for a test since we all had the opportunity to work with a range technology. My group decided to make our video presentation more on the humorous side since our class liked to poke fun at our teacher over her stress level over the AP exams. Some groups decided to sing catchy songs. Some groups decided to use catchy symbols. But overall, these unique video projects helped me collaborate with my classmates, while improving my technology skills and preparing me for my semester exam.
